This policy explains how Zozzah Technologies collects, uses and protects personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Please read it carefully.
1. Who we are
Zozzah Technologies is a Nigerian technology company registered under Nigerian law, operating from headquarters in Abuja, Lagos and Uyo with offices across 19 states. When this policy refers to Zozzah, we, us or our, it means Zozzah Technologies and any subsidiary operating under the Zozzah brand.
2. What data we collect
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, company name and any message content when you fill in a contact or enquiry form. We also collect technical data when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited and time spent on each page. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial account details or government identification numbers.
3. Why we collect it
We use your data to respond to your enquiries, to send you information about services you have asked about, to improve our website experience and to fulfil any contract we enter into with you. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), we process your data on the basis of your consent where you have submitted a form, on the basis of legitimate interest for analytics and website improvement, and on the basis of contract performance where we are delivering services to you.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry data for 24 months from the date of your last contact. Client project data is retained for 7 years for contractual and compliance purposes. Website analytics data is retained for 14 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by writing to us.
6. Who we share data with
We may share your data with service providers who help us operate our business, including email platforms, hosting providers and analytics tools. All providers are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by Nigerian law or a court order.
7. Your rights
Under the NDPA 2023, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, to withdraw consent at any time and to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
